Jeremy A. Schmidt is a horticulturist, garden designer, and lifelong student of the natural world. Through HORTCO, he creates stone-based gardens that reveal the hidden potential of landscapes while celebrating the beauty and diversity of plants.
For nearly three decades, Jeremy has helped clients uncover the hidden potential within their landscapes — transforming overlooked spaces into immersive gardens rich with beauty, discovery, and ecological value. His work spans some of North America's most respected horticultural institutions, and his hands have placed more than three million pounds of stone in pursuit of extraordinary growing conditions for plants.
